Since 2009, Cirkul’R has been turning the street into a stage and the stage into street.
Our story
Once upon a time, under the gaze of the Bonne Mère — Marseille’s Good Mother, the basilica that watches over the city — a company was born which, armed with an angle grinder, a pair of stilts and a little imagination, enchanted the eyes and minds of young and old alike.
It walked from town to village, sowing carnivals and acrobatics, leaving sparks and smiles in its wake.
And so, for 16 years now, the Cirkul’R company — also written CirkulR — has carried on its laboratory, pacing pavements and roadways, writing its story and its myths to the rhythm of subwoofers and bass lines.
Our approach
Street arts, circus, music and theatre meet in each of our creations. Between Marseille and Occitanie, we lead socio-cultural projects that make live art a vehicle for connection and sharing, to re-enchant public space and turn every street into a stage of dreams.
